Maka Botchorishvili: Particular attention will be given to Georgia’s active participation in international organizations and advancing the country's national interests

“Particular attention will be given to Georgia’s active participation in international organizations, advancing the country's national interests, and contributing to efforts addressing the challenges facing the international community” - the candidate for Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili said during her speech at the joint session of the parliamentary committees.

According to her, work within international organizations will be focused on showcasing the reforms implemented and ongoing in Georgia across various sectors.

“Georgia has significant achievements in many areas, as evidenced by various international rankings. Efforts must be made to ensure proper positioning to strengthen the country's progress and positive image. Of course, we must also continue to work on improving these rankings” – Botchorishvili noted.

As the candidate for Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted, Georgia will host and participate in significant international events. Active efforts will continue to enhance Georgia's international visibility as a country with an ancient civilization, rich history, and culture.
